Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam has for many years been used as a conventional insulation material in construction, and is extremely energy efficient. It is among the few insulating materials with a thermal R-value that will not decrease with age. Additionally, EPS foam is lightweight, easy to install, durable, environmentally friendly, and resistant to rotting, mold, and mildew. Over the past decade, increasing construction and packaging applications have emerged and EPS insulation foam is now regarded as an innovative material that lends to the design and structural integrity of many construction projects in the Northwest.
